Liz Carey

Liz Doyle Carey joined Sotheby’s International Realty – East Hampton Brokerage after a successful career in book publishing in New York City. There, she collaborated with premier authors, brands, and licenses to create award-winning books and calendars. She is also the author of more than 40 published novels for kids. Leveraging her marketing and deal-making skills, along with her experience in media, branding, and advertising, Liz excels at creatively positioning properties to convey their compelling stories. As a Sotheby’s International Realty agent, Liz has earned the Rising Star award, secured a position among the top 100 sales associates of company-owned brokerages, and holds membership in the invitation-only Waterfront Concierge referral group.

A lifelong summer resident of East Hampton, Liz grew up in New York City, where she gained insight into the luxury auction world through her parents’ business, Doyle New York. Her upbringing instilled in her the values of discretion, integrity, and hard work, as well as a keen understanding of market trends, taste, provenance, and research. An alumna of the Spence School, Andover, and Macalester College, Liz possesses an extensive network and is an active volunteer. She serves on the board of managers for the East Hampton Library and the East Hampton Healthcare Foundation, in addition to volunteering at the East Hampton Food Pantry. She resides full-time in Amagansett with her husband, a general contractor, and they have three grown sons.
