Elizabeth Daly

Originally from the soybean capital of the world, Decatur, Il, real estate has been in Elizabeth Daly's blood since she rehabbed her first house with her father when she was eight. Years of watching him navigate complex real estate deals gave her a deep appreciation for the art of negotiation as well as an eagle eye for the grand potential that often lies beneath bad carpeting.

Elizabeth relocated from the Midwest to South Florida just before starting high school. Her weekend gig was waiting tables and singing with the band aboard the Island Queen, a sightseeing boat that sailed along Palm Beach’s historic Lake Worth. After high school, she headed to New York where she attended NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. When she wasn’t on stage, she spent countless hours building sets and developed a love for pneumatic tools and steel-toe boots. She was able to parlay these talents into a cable show on Lifetime TV as the Fix-it-Chick. Long before HGTV was a household name, Elizabeth was empowering people to take the DIY plunge.

One too many smashed thumbs found her wanting to use her talents to help others. Thus began a 15-year career in the non-profit sector serving as a senior executive with the Sundance Film Festival, The Hammer Museum, and Chrysalis, a LA-based organization dedicated to getting homeless people off the streets and into jobs. Elizabeth has raised over $200 million for charity, produced multi-million-dollar celebrity-driven events across the country, and negotiated seven-figure partnerships with some of the largest consumer brands of our time. Her friends and colleagues will tell you that “attention to detail” doesn’t begin to describe her caring for the minutia that can make any project exceptional.

At Sotheby’s International Realty, Elizabeth has found her home. Every skill set she developed in her prior career translates beautifully to helping her clients get the deal done. She can be tough when she needs to be, understands the art of compromise, and will go deep into the weeds so her clients don’t have to. Not to mention that having your own personal “fix-it chick” on board will help you realize the potential in all those hidden gems. She is also a 15+ year resident of Mt. Washington, mom to a teenager, active donor and volunteer at Mt. Washington Elementary, and owner of a rescued Chiweenie named Bacon. From the beach to the canyon trails of NELA, she is ready to guide her clients through the wild world of LA real estate.
