Remise - the outbuilding of Villa Jay, built in 1903 in Kronberg im Taunus, was once the horse stable and is now a charming residential building steeped in history. With its historical significance and architectural charm, it fits perfectly into the overall picture of the surrounding beautifully ingrown villa site.

The building is constructed of sturdy stone walls with half-timbered additions and a crippled hipped roof that gives it a traditional and timeless aesthetic. The exterior facade of the former horse stable shows traces of its original purpose, such as the entrance door (clone gate) that provided access for horses and ventilation. During the reconstruction in 1977 only the foundation walls remained and a residential house with generous window areas and a living space of approx. 166 sq.m.
