Local Expertise. Global Connections.
With a pure Texas twang that will draw you in, Annette comes with a successful, client centered, salesperson’s heart. At the age of 10 Annette was featured in the Austin-American Statesman as an excellent salesperson for selling Girl Scout cookies. She learned that every person that bought a box of cookies had different tastes, wanted the best quality for their money, and wanted a personal connection with knowledge and a smile. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, Annette reached her goal of becoming a Math teacher. She used her selling skills to help students gain an understanding of how Math could be beneficial, working individually with each student to ensure their success.
Fast forward, two beautiful girls and an amazing husband later, Annette stepped into finding homes for her family and redesigning them into beautiful finds. Annette earned her Real Estate license in Texas in 1999 and started a successful career working with buyers, sellers, and builders in an upscale Austin market.
In 2005 Annette and her husband, Jim, followed their youngest daughter, who played Division I volleyball, to the Mountains of North Carolina. There she earned her broker’s license in Real Estate. Thus started a 25 year journey of selling these beautiful NC mountains, yet one thing remains the same…that Girl Scout who still loves what she does and truly believes her clients want three simple things: 1) to find a home that fits their unique style 2) great value and quality for the amount they invest, and 3) an agent who is knowledgeable, who understands and listens to them, and who always leaves them with a smile (and now, maybe a mixture of TX-NC twang)!
