I grew up in Bellevue Washington. Attended The University Of Washington for two years. Then I moved to Oregon and completed my BS Degree as a Duck.
Upon graduation, I moved to Lake Oswego and started work for NBC Television in Sales. After two years I decided to enter the Real Estate Industry.Joined an excellent small firm. I was recruited by Stan Wiley Realtors and became a branch manager. I developed a very comprehensive sales trading program.Was promoted to VP of Training and Recruiting.
I took a new positions as President and Principal Broker of Shelter Properties, Realtors in Lake Oswego. I was also President of Shelter Construction, New Home Builder, Shelter Development and Shelter Pacific, Investment Properties
After many years I sold my interest. I took a year off and Guided Fly Fishing Adventures on the Deschutes River. Was married and secured my Securities License and went to New York for training. I worked in the Investment business until 2022 as Vice President Investments for several National Firms.
I moved to Bend in late 2003 with my Son, Michael W. and was a Vice President of Investment with UIBS Financial Services, 12 years with Wells Fargo Advisors and retired from Raymond James Financial
You could consider me an outdoorsman, however I Dress up nicely. I have fished all over, even guided, love to ski, hike, and spend special time working with my Labradors, my best buddies.Most importantly, I spend a lot of special time with my Son, I am his forever caregiver.
Some business attributes I think I can contribute to our success is my substantial financial experience, have managed millions of dollars, worked the most sophisticated individuals, have negotiated many transactions.
I am a person who communicated well and often with clients, I know how to listen and understand the clients goals, and I know how to close a sale. I think my experience as a Financial Fiduciary in the Investment Business provides experience in handling Broker/Client relationships.
