Colin Pagnani is a third generation Greenwich native, having proudly lived in the Greenwich community for over 30 years. Colin is a dedicated professional who prides himself on intimately listening to his clients’ needs and offering timely and effective solutions. Known around town for his outgoing and welcoming personality, he consistently displays an attitude of joy and optimism, ready to handle the complexity of both buyer and seller needs.
Having lived in six houses around Greenwich, he is intimately familiar with life in each neighborhood and the stresses and joys that come with moving. He attended Parkway Elementary School, Central Middle School, and Greenwich High School, where he maintains relationships with several teachers he credits for positively impacting him. While he attended K-12 in Greenwich Public Schools, he has a distinct familiarity with Brunswick, Greenwich Academy, Sacred Heart, and Greenwich Country Day through his relationship with family members and friends who attended.
Over the last three decades, whether it was weekends spent playing Greenwich Youth Soccer or Football League on every field in town, the unforgettable moments spent wakeboarding and fishing with friends on Long Island Sound, or simply enjoying all the amazing restaurants Greenwich has to offer, he has been organically building both a passion and a deep understanding for why Greenwich can be such an amazing place to raise a family.
During his final year with the Greenwich Youth Football League, the B.A.N.C Raiders, he proudly won the Tommy Cornelius Coach’s Award for those who exemplify the highest level of dedication and accountability to the game, their coaches, and teammates. His name can be seen in the Byram Archibald Center among fellow winners. “Once a Raider, always a Raider!”
After attending Greenwich High School, he earned a degree in business administration with a minor in organizational leadership from Whittier College. While attending Whittier, upon the recommendation of the head of the business department, he was the only student selected to serve as a teacher’s assistant for the top negotiations class on campus.
After receiving his degree, Colin worked in the reinsurance industry as an underwriting assistant, where he began to sharpen his skills in evaluating and managing risk and, most importantly, determining value. Following a childhood passion for storytelling, he left the reinsurance industry to work in the film and TV industry. After creating two original TV shows, he spent a year pitching to production companies, streaming services, talent agencies, and private investors. This entrepreneurial experience continues to shape Colin’s unique ability to navigate difficult conversations and maintain meaningful relationships while persistently advocating for his clients’ best interests.
During this entrepreneurial period, he also became a certified paddle tennis instructor, teaching paddle tennis, tennis, and pickleball at several country clubs. Having worked with all ages and talent levels, Colin understands how to quickly connect with someone new, identify their needs, and develop the appropriate solutions for the circumstance.
When he is not serving the needs of his clients, he loves to enjoy some of his many passions, including racquet sports, writing, yoga, and playing the piano. While he rarely teaches these days, he continues to maintain his passion through playing in APTA tournaments when his schedule allows it. He is a member of Westchester Country Club, where he enjoys playing golf, tennis, pickleball, and paddle tennis.
