Born and raised in Denver, Heather has not lived anywhere but Colorado. After graduating high school, Heather attended Fort Lewis College in Durango; eventually moving back to Denver, she graduated
Metropolitan State University with a Behavioral Science degree. Realizing what she had left behind and craving the small-town life, Heather relocated back to Durango a few years after graduating and hasn't looked back since. Durango has a special place in her heart, and she loves when her clients feel the same.
Having a career in the oil and gas industry and the manufacturing industry, Heather was not upholding her true purpose – to serve and be there for others. However, real estate was always something she wanted to do, and with the support of her family, she made that happen.
Heather is passionate about connecting with people, is a great listener, and will be there for her clients every step through dedication and hard work – even after the transaction is complete. She has made some great friends and connections through her work and continues to do so.
Heather holds the Real Estate Negotiation Expert, RENE, certification and ABR, Accredited Buyer's Representative, and is on her way to earning additional certifications. She constantly looks for ways to improve and grow, primarily to serve her clients' needs.
Heather is strongly dedicated to Durango's youth and sits on the Durango Winter Sports Club, Durango Baseball and Softball organization board, and is also involved with PTO. She can also be found coaching softball in the Spring and Fall seasons and volunteering to assist the ski athletes in the winter. Her two young girls are alpine ski racers and play softball in the off-seasons. Staying busy and enjoying Durango, Heather, and her family can be found outside all year round and travel as much as they can.
