Born and raised in Michigan in an architect-designed home, KiKi was destined for a career where she could influence how people’s lives are impacted by a home’s design. She is especially passionate about historically designated properties, mid-century modern, and architect-designed homes.
She cut her teeth as a REALTOR® in Vermont. “The properties were often over 150 years old or had large acreage, which called for a lot of stamina and resourcefulness.” She expanded her knowledge by working in the Denver Metro market for 20+ years. Now, she is growing her business by being dual licensed in California and Colorado. “I have deep roots in the Santa Barbara and Ventura counties, and I look forward to helping clients with the acquisition and sale of properties in both states. Not only did my grandparents build a home in the 50s in Montecito, and my mother opened a wine shop in Santa Barbara, but now my daughter and her family live in the Ojai Valley.”
She enjoys working with both homebuyers and sellers, helping them navigate the process with the information they need to make informed decisions. “And I will manage the process-there are a lot of moving parts. My job is to handle those parts, so your contract closes on time with a minimum of uncertainty and surprises.”
Her ‘secret’ to success is hardly a secret. “My parents taught me the importance of being meaningful and focused with every person I meet and everything I do. I really listen to a client’s wants and needs and then work tirelessly to find the right property, even if it isn’t on the open market. When selling a home, I will guide you from prepping to closing to get you the most value. I thrive on doing the research to find creative solutions.”
She is an avid road cyclist. And enjoys music, art, architecture, skiing, swimming, yoga, and creating memories with her family.
She furthers her involvement in the community by being a member of Docomomo US, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the Ventura Botanic Gardens, the LACMA, the Denver Art Museum, Central City Opera Guild, Santa Barbara Museum of Art, Lotusland, Denver Botanic Gardens, The Ojai Valley Land Conservancy, and Historic Denver.
KiKi is a member of CAR, NAR and DMAR and has furthered her education as a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES®), a certified Negotiation Expert, and Landmark Real Estate Professional.
