Jonathan Babson

Jonathan (JB to his friends and family) was born and raised in Wilmington NC and is a proud Seahawk, having graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a BS in Business Administration. He has been a Raleigh resident since 1997 and has seen the Triangle grow into a world class region and exciting place to live. Jonathan worked for major telecommunications companies, national banks and most recently owned his own interior design firm. Since he was a child, he has had a passion for architecture, design and real estate and joining The Clark Group at Hodge and Kittrell Sotheby’s International Realty has created the perfect marriage of his sales knowledge and love of real estate.

With a diverse and award-winning career selling everything from advertising to merchant services to home furnishings, he gained the important skills of nurturing relationships with clients, listening to their needs, and following through to ensure their satisfaction. Having bought, renovated, and sold several properties in the Raleigh and Wilmington markets, Jonathan knows that buying and selling a home can be the biggest and most important transaction of one's life. That’s why he is there from start to finish and beyond with his clients during the process.

Jonathan enjoys home improvement projects, traveling, volunteering his time to nonprofits and charities, attending Hudson Memorial Presbyterian Church, and spending time with his husband, Richard, and two spirited Schnauzers, Charlie and Willy. He is currently the chairman for the annual gala to raise funds for Lower Cape Fear LifeCare, an organization near and dear to his heart. When he’s not in Raleigh, you can probably find JB at Wrightsville Beach by the shore or on a boat!
