Eric Jones

Eric Jones created and manages the commercial services and brokerage team for Pacific
Sotheby's International Realty. As part of commercial services, Pacific Sotheby's international Realty has access to the leading commercial brokerage social media and listing services, including CoStar, Crexi and Sotheby's national and international web platforms to maximize property listing exposure for the client. Pacific Sotheby's Commercial Services is a team member to all 340+ Sotheby's agents in San Diego and Orange County and bringing in over 30 years of commercial brokerage experience to the area.

Eric started his real estate brokerage and development career in San Diego in 1985 as a Acquisitions Manager for one of San Diego’s largest residential and commercial developers, Pacific Scene Development. After 2 successful years bringing in several acquisitions and development opportunities, Eric was recruited to oversee acquisitions and entitlements for the Irvine Company’s development division in San Diego county.

Eric started his own commercial real estate brokerage and development consulting business San Diego County in 1995. He has been involved in commercial sales, acquisitions and development consulting for various developers throughout San Diego County. Eric has listed and sold several commercial industrial, industrial-flex and mixed-used commercial properties for over 30 years in the coastal areas of San Diego County.

Eric’s experience and ability to work in several different areas of real estate brokerage and development gives the property owner and/or developer client the opportunity to have the most experienced team to analyze highest & best use to maximize a sale price, and have a proper marketing plan to sell for the best possible price.

Educated at Colorado State University & Arizona State University, with degrees in Business Administration, Real Estate Finance and Urban Planning/Architecture. Eric was also a part-time instructor at UCSD in their Extension Post Graduate Program for 3 years, teaching Real Estate Development Feasibility Analysis. Eric is a past board member on the Downtown San Diego Partnership, San Diego Building Industry Association’s Board of Director’s and a lifetime board member of the BIA Cares Foundation.
