Karen Ben-Sorek

A Great Neck resident since 1990, Karen Ben-Sorek assists her clients with purchasing and selling homes throughout Long Island and particularly the North Shore communities. Prior to starting in real estate, Karen worked in finance, developing business plans and proposals for private and public offerings, and structuring international deals between buyers and sellers. She also garnered experience in real estate by coordinating meetings with attorneys to avoid the foreclosure of a commercial property and by acquiring the appraisals for the valuation of unsold shares in a cooperative building. Having lived and worked in Great Neck for many years, Karen has a wealth of information on the local services and professionals to help people settle in comfortably when relocating, renovating, or updating a home. A graduate of Hofstra University with a bachelor's degree in international business, Karen is also fluent in several languages, including French, English, Spanish, Moroccan Arabic, and Hebrew. When not working with clients, Karen enjoys being active, engaging in ballroom dancing, fitness classes, and tennis. She also likes to take advantage of the local food scene, and particularly enjoys Mediterranean and Asian cuisine.
