Derik Mott

Derik Mott is a Michigan native and has called Northern Michigan home for the last fourteen years. Derik believes that all things are possible through vision and action. He is passionate about getting to know his clients and aligning properties that reflect their lifestyle. He believes loyalty, consistency, competence, and persistence are some of the main character traits that clients deserve and appreciate.

Derik understands the importance of a strong, healthy, and growing community. He has demonstrated this understanding through his past involvement as Chairman of the Petoskey Chamber Ambassadors, Petoskey Chamber Board Member, Chairman of Petoskey Chamber Centennial Committee, and President of the Northern Michigan Jaycees. Derik is presently president of his homeowner’s association and Harbor Springs Chamber Board Member, and US JCI Senator.

Derik has a genuine curiosity about others and fosters his passion for connecting people through networking, meeting new people, and enjoying the Northern Michigan lifestyle with his well-established circle of peers. Derik is always up for a boat ride, a night on the town, or an intimate dinner party. Derik knows people across an array of social, cultural, professional, and economic circles, and his special gift is bringing these people together and making introductions. He is gregarious, generous with his word, and openly friendly to strangers. Derik can make anyone comfortable and feel included. When he is home, he loves working outside, cooking, and spending time with his three adorable dogs.
