About Me:

Portland has been home for almost a decade now. Making my way here from Eastern Washington via Boise, Idaho, I've come to love everything about this city. The way it feels, how it looks from a bike, the pockets of village-like neighborhoods, the serenity of winding suburban roads, and the beauty of outlying rural spaces all make this place so unique.

I'm gifted to be married to my best friend and life partner, Emily. For her, Portland was home way before it was for me...I wasn't sold on the place at first but quickly found my affection for it all! We've chased cheap rent together in the heart of the city as well as gone through the rigors of buying property. And through it all, neither of us can imagine anywhere else we'd rather raise our family and live our lives.

On any given day you might find me rolling on two wheels through downtown, watching soccer or water polo from the sidelines of my kids' practices and games, eating lunch from one of my favorite food carts, exploring a new pocket of the city just for fun, or enjoying a pint from a local brewery. And of course, RCTID!
