Local Expertise. Global Connections.
Elizabeth Wells partners with her mother, Carrie Shoaf, as a global real estate advisor at Scenic Sotheby’s International Realty. With a career spanning 17 years, she delved into family-owned restaurants and luxury hospitality beginning at age 14. Notably, Elizabeth spearheaded the launch of The Pearl Hotel in Rosemary Beach as the general manager of the acclaimed Havana Beach Grill. Her pursuit of excellence took her to esteemed Napa Valley, refining her expertise in a rare three-star Michelin restaurant — one of just 14 in the entire country— before assuming a crucial role as a district manager in a prominent family-owned restaurant group.
Growing up amidst her father's hotel and restaurant ventures and under the guidance of her top producer mother, Elizabeth cultivated a deep-rooted passion for service from an early age. Leveraging skills previously honed in luxury hospitality, she transitioned to a career in real estate, returning to the scenic beaches of northwest Florida. With a bachelor’s degree in organizational communication from the University of Utah, Elizabeth seamlessly integrates her academic knowledge with hands-on expertise, boasting proficiencies in customer service, adept problem-solving, leadership and operational systems — a rich tapestry of skills highly beneficial to her real estate clientele. She remains dedicated to delivering unparalleled service while nurturing client relationships.
Elizabeth finds solace in spinning, yoga and golf, and indulges in her love of cooking, baking and sharing cherished recipes. Advocating for animal welfare and aiding those facing food insecurities are causes close to her heart, as she eagerly anticipates volunteer work in these areas. Her curiosity extends to podcasts exploring human behavior, social sciences and psychology.
