Matthew spent the first part of his life growing up in Miami, Florida where he spent much of his time in the ocean either surfing or fishing. He moved to Richmond, Virginia in the early 2000’s and fell in love with the River City. Richmond, with its easy access to many outdoor activities, great music and an ever growing art and culinary scene, quickly became his home. Most of the time you’ll find Matthew with his wife and dog, Nico, fishing & kayaking, hiking, riding bicycles or helping out in the local community gardens.
