Peter Cowperthwaite

Peter founded Cowperthwaite & Company in 1989, a boutique real estate firm well known in the higher-end markets on the Peninsula. With a background in finance and economics, he left an early career as a Certified Public Accountant when he realized that he loved working with people more than numbers. A natural competitor, he loves negotiating and doing what it takes to get the job done for his clients.

Peter and his wife Tracy have been happily married for 33 years. They live in Portola Valley where they have raised two sons together. Peter is an avid outdoorsman who loves to bike, hike, golf and play tennis. An ardent sailor, Peter has taken two sabbaticals to explore the high seas.
