Born and raised in Central PA in a small town, Melody learned very early on about the power of great customer service from her first job as a waitress. She was educated at Rollins College in Psychology and launched her sales career in the computer software industry.
Melody began her real estate career in Northern Virginia, Washington D.C. Metro area in 2004. Her skills in contract negotiation, strategy development and relationship management propelled her into top producer status in her first two years. In 2011 Melody was a founding partner of The Busy Blondes in Reston VA, an award-winning real estate team that is still thriving today in the Virginia market. In 2015 Melody and her husband moved from VA to Carlsbad CA to be closer to her family. During her six years in Carlsbad, she excelled with The Agents San Diego, maintaining year-over-year performance in the top 1% in the nation in sales volume. She was also the Vice President of her homeowners’ association for six years, developing and building cohesion in a 280+ home community.
Fast forward to 2021, Melody and her family made the decision to move back to the East Coast, looking for a city rich in history, ocean access, great year-round golf weather, and exciting growth in the real estate market. Charleston, South Carolina was the natural choice!

In her personal life Melody enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, running, and golfing. She lives with her husband, Jim, in Beresford Creek Landing next to Daniel Island.
