Jody Lovell

Jody has been a leader on the Highlands-Cashiers plateau for over twenty years. Formerly a lawyer with King and Spalding in Atlanta, she uses her high energy and mindfulness for her clients. A graduate of The Ohio State College of Law, she did post-graduate work at Oxford University in England. She received her LLM from King's College in London and was in the first class of US attorneys to qualify as English Solicitors.

Jody is the top-producing broker on the entire Highlands-Cashiers MLS since 2001. Real Trends named Jody the top-producing agent in North Carolina since 2016. She closed over $460M, per the HCMLS and county recordings, representing over 250 happy clients in 2020-2023. More of Jody’s listings sold than any other broker on the HCMLS.

Jody has her Georgia Real Estate license with Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby's International Realty, giving her close access to the top 550 agents in Atlanta, a strong feeder market for the Highlands/Cashiers Plateau. Also, she has her South Carolina Broker's license with Joan Herlong and Associates Sotheby's International Realty in Greenville to assist clients in the upstate of South Carolina which is close to Highlands. Jody befriends her clients representing many of them numerous times.
