Ashwin is a seasoned Private Banking veteran and a wealth management specialist with over 2 decades of experience in transactions and advisory. He began his career as a Private Banker with BNP Paribas and then he moved on to spend more than a decade with Citibank as a Banker. Here he handled a plethora of assignments ranging from Wealth management, Commercial banking and running the North India franchise before he went on to Head the Investment Advisory division for Citibank India. He then moved to Private Banking with Barclays as a Director, this being his first love and passion, until he decided to take the inevitable plunge into Entrepreneurship. Ashwin founded India Sotheby’s International Realty in 2014 on the basis of a two pronged premise : Real estate as an asset class needed no introduction to the global Indian HNI and there was no brand more venerable than Sotheby’s, with its 275 year legacy. He has led the firm as President since then. On the education side, he received his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi and a Post graduate in Finance & Control from University of Delhi. Ashwin certainly has the necessary expertise and experience to benefit his clients in every aspect of real estate sales, Advisory, financing and structuring. Ashwin is passionate about his game of squash and loves to spend time with his two angels.
