J. Michael Jackson

A veteran of the Triangle real estate market for over 25 years and one of the owners of Hodge & Kittrell Sotheby's International Realty, Michael is a top producer whose clients benefit from his wealth of experience and trademark high level of personal service. After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Michael moved to Raleigh and shortly thereafter began his real estate career. Since living in Raleigh, he has lived in a new apartment, a 1960s condo, a 1950s ranch (which he and his wife renovated and later added on to--twice) and a new house designed and built from the ground up. Through his experience buying, renovating and building houses, Michael has a good eye for design and the hidden potential in older and historic properties that may not be readily apparent to some buyers. With a stable of designers, architects and builders at his disposal, he can help buyers envision what a property can become. However, if it is a new house you have always dreamed of, he is equally familiar with helping buyers navigate the construction process from initial design to the final punch list. And with two children, he is also very familiar with the area's public and private schools. In his spare time, Michael enjoys exercising, volunteering for various local organizations, and spending time with family and friends.
