Johanna Sawdai

Johanna grew up in New York City and after earning her B.S. degree from Pace University in New York City she relocated to South Florida where she fell in love with the beaches and beautiful, balmy weather. Her quest and love for both helping people and real estate led her to obtain her Real Estate License in 2000. She initially worked for one of the largest builders in the country learning all facets of the home building industry including construction, customer service and negotiation. After meeting her husband, who also has a career in real estate, they left South Florida and relocated to Flagler Beach in 2003. There she continued in new home sales until the birth of their son which compelled Johanna to take some time from her career to focus on family.


Her passion for helping people led Johanna to obtain a degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) while her son was in school. With her new degree she began to practice OT helping patients rehabilitate to gain independence in their daily lives; however, the lure of real estate was irresistible. She accepted a position in new home sales at one of the area’s largest golf & country clubs were she excelled before ultimately being invited to join First Coast Sotheby’s International Realty.

Johanna’s heritage is from Colombia, South America and she is fluent in Spanish. She is active in her community and is a member of The Hammock Beach Resort. Her love of the Hammock area led her and her husband to purchase a homesite in Ocean Hammock for their own future home. Johanna enjoys spending time with her family and their fur baby, a Yorkie named Gabi. She also practices yoga and spends her free time reading and cooking for friends and family.
