As a child, my parents took my three siblings and me on a picnic. On the way there, our car broke down and we spent the day at a gas station in the middle of nowhere. There was not another building in site for miles.

Many years later, while reminiscing with my father about the experience, I learned that gas station was on corner of Scottsdale Road and Shea Blvd. Today this is one of the busiest intersections in Scottsdale.

Born and raised in Scottsdale, I have grown up with this incredible city. I have traveled through the US, Mexico, South America, and Europe, and I am always grateful I get to return home to Arizona. I could never tire of the stunning Sonoran Desert. I am constantly in awe of this beautiful land.

I work closely with my partner, Paul Perry, another Arizona Native, and Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty agent. Real estate is our passion. We thoroughly enjoy helping clients with the buying and selling of their homes. We know the valley well and work from Paradise Valley from North to Desert Mountain.

While we both grew up in Central Scottsdale, we now call Desert Mountain our home. We live an active lifestyle and the Sonoran Desert is our playground. From hiking in Tonto National Forest, horseback riding, pickle-ball, golf, restaurants, a state of the art workout facility, all located within the gates of this beautiful community, we have it all.

My real estate career is fun however real estate is serious. I have purchased several personal residences in Scottsdale as well as investment properties. The process of finding a place that meets the emotional criteria has to be balanced with knowing this a smart financial choice. I view it this way for my clients as well.  Whether buying or selling, you can expect thorough communication, extensive follow-up, every question answered, knowledge of the market, and the overall understanding that each transaction is personal to you that deserves dedicated time from a professional.

Purchasing and selling homes at the right price point is what clients want. I hear and understand these words from my clients, “I want an exit strategy with this home. I love this home but I saw what happened in 2007.“

While real estate has recovered from the crash, buyers are not forgetting the experience and are not making quick decisions to purchase without feeling confident that it is a solid financial choice.
