Ria Dougherty

A native of the Metropolitan Washington, DC region, Ria was raised and currently lives in McLean, VA. Her passion for real estate developed with her first job working for a prominent DC commercial and residential real estate development firm, where she gained invaluable experience in many aspects of this dynamic, exciting industry. She subsequently held management positions in sales and business development for technology and consulting firms. Refining her consultative approach, Ria takes the time to listen carefully and offer advice best suited to each client’s unique circumstance. Whether she’s listing or selling a prominent local residence, or working with first time home buyers, she is respected and appreciated for providing a high level of service to her clients. Ria is also passionate about giving her energy to support local charities in the Washington metropolitan area such as ‘Second Story’. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and creating her own recipes, going on walks with her golden retriever, Max, and traveling as much as possible. One of her favorite places to visit is the Greek island of Naxos.
