Wendi Chandler

Wendi Chandler is thrilled to be affiliated with Sotheby’s International Realty - Brentwood. Raised in Hancock Park, Encino, France and Pacific Heights in San Francisco, Wendi believes she is well-prepared for the career she is now pursuing. She knows the environs of these prosperous neighborhoods well. A graduate of Marymount High School in Bel Air, she attended Boston’s Pine Manor College, University of Tours & Le Sorbonne in France and graduated from Mount Holyoke College. Integrity, honesty, kindness and open communication are her hallmarks.

An Executive with Saks Fifth Avenue at the flagship Fifth Avenue store, Wendi became a buyer and loved living in Manhattan for three years.

She moved to St. Lucia in the West Indies where she taught first grade at the only private school on the island. Corralling the crabs that scrabbled across the floor after every storm was a vital skill.

Returning to Los Angeles, she joined KABCT-TV, where she coordinated the nightly news. This led to a network opportunity at the center of the Democratic Presidential National Convention supervising vital live feeds for ABC national news.

In the entertainment world, Wendi worked at Lorimar Productions on “FALCON CREST” both in LA and in the Napa Valley; in charge of travel, scheduling, expediting needs for 150 plus members of the cast and crew. Crisis resolution, juggling schedules, logistics, and fast and furious problem solving were the norm.

Wendi raised her family in Beverly Hills on Tower Grove Drive and then Bedford; their children attended Sunshine Pre-School, Curtis School, El Rodeo (Christopher) Horace Mann (Hayley) and Beverly Hills High School. Wendi served on the PTA Boards and Councils for all schools.

Wendi, long active in civic organizations and charities, served as:

- Board Member of Hillsides Home for Children
- Board Member of St. Elizabeth Day Nursery
- President of The Junior League of Los Angeles: Decades long member and now Sustainer.
- Founding Member of The National Charity League’s Westside Los Angeles Chapter with daughter, Hayley

With a very wide circle of friends and colleagues in the Pacific Palisades, Brentwood, Beverly Hills, Hancock Park, Encino, and the West Side, Wendi has a talent for presenting, public speaking, and sales. A natural people person and instinctive networker, she has a strong base on which she is already building success in the real estate realm.
