Recently concluding 18 years of service to the City of Lambertville as Councilman and Council President, Steve’s continued priority is growing the economic vitality of the City while preserving its rich history and the quality of life we all enjoy. Steve knows how to get things done!
Steve has deep roots in Lambertville. An avid collector of pop culture items and classic toys, he opened his first store in Lambertville in 1986 named “Boomerbilia”. The business grew to become the largest collectible emporium in the northeast, The 5 & Dime.
Steve has served on the Lambertville Zoning Board of Adjustment and on the Planning Board for the City of Lambertville. He is also a founding member of the Lambertville Historic Preservation Commission and a past President of the Lambertville Area Chamber of Commerce. Steve also chaired the Chamber’s Annual Shad Festival. Under his seventeen-year direction, the all-volunteer festival was awarded “Best Event” from the New Jersey Office of Travel & Tourism on three occasions. During that period, the Shad Festival Poster Auction raised over $300,000 for art scholarships to graduating high school students who were focusing on the Arts.
Steve left the Chamber 2003 and went on to work for the State of New Jersey’s Office of Travel & Tourism where he last served as Deputy Director. Currently Steve serves as Manager of Outreach for the New Jersey Business Action Center promoting business retention and expansion in the Garden State.
In addition, Steve recently celebrated 20 years in the real estate business holding licenses in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
