As a Realtor® since 1987, John initially distinguished himself in the Washington, DC real estate market by assisting numerous foreign missions with both their commercial and residential requirements. His work with over two dozen diplomatic missions and the US Dept of State required developing trust and establishing cross-cultural relations. He provided comprehensive service and guidance in the real estate process particular to the Washington diplomatic market. With this specialty, John gained a thorough knowledge of the “Upper Bracket” DC market. In due course, his clientele base evolved and extended quickly to private clients and investors. Whether as a Listing or Buyer’s agent, all his clients are provided with “carriage trade”, white glove service. Above all, John provides a personalized, dedicated approach, consistently achieving successful outcomes for his clients.
Initially mentored by Washington real estate “doyenne”, Jeanne Begg of BEGG Realtors in Georgetown, he was later recruited by TTR Sotheby’s International Realty. Signi?cant listings and/or sales include the Cafritz Estate - now the Field School on Foxhall Road. Notable clients include US Senators, Congressmen, Cabinet members (former Secretaries of the Navy, Commerce, Veteran Affairs), members of the Spanish Royal Family, the former Spanish Foreign Minister, members of various royal households from Middle Eastern countries, H.E. the French Ambassador and the government of France, the government of Spain, founders and CEO's of major corporations, and private clients from both America and abroad. In 2024, his work continues with recent sales in the coveted areas of Washington, DC.
