A sixth generation resident of Monmouth County, Michael McKenna is proud to offer his knowledge and service to those looking to buy or sell real estate at the Jersey Shore. Born in Red Bank and raised in Little Silver, Michael graduated from Red Bank Regional High School and earned his Bachelor of Arts from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey. He currently lives with his Fiancé in Monmouth Beach, while working out of Heritage House Sotheby’s International Realty’s Rumson office. In addition to being a licensed agent, Michael works as a professional real estate photographer, videographer, floorplan artist, and FAA licensed remote drone pilot.
Michael has photographed well over 2,000 properties in more than 200 New Jersey towns, as well as a number of properties in New York, Florida, Texas, California, and Hawaii. His ability to show a property in its best natural light has helped not only hundreds of real estate agents, including company top producers, but builders, developers, architechs, interior designers, and homeowners.
Michael focuses his energy on his work, his family, volunteering, and his passion for photographing the Jersey Shore. His love for documenting the natural beauty of New Jersey has given him a unique and appreciative perspective on the area and its coastal environment. In addition to being a published surf and wildlife photographer, Michael is a certified stranding technician and photographer for the Marine Mammal Stranding Center of New Jersey. He also currently serves as the Photography Chair for the Jersey Shore Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation.
Before joining Heritage House Sotheby's International Realty, Michael worked as a water utility technician during the Hurricane Sandy recovery process. Over that time, he visited more than 10,000 properties in towns located along the Monmouth and Ocean County coastline.
