Born and raised in Evanston, Illinois, Anne is a graduate of Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York with a B.S. in business. When Anne moved to Aspen many years ago, she was a ski instructor for a year or two and quickly understood that Aspen was a unique and special place. She made the decision to call Aspen home and embarked on her real estate career.
Anne is proud of her active role in the community. She served as Vice President of the Board of Directors of Aspen Junior Hockey and was a member of the Board of Directors of the Aspen Youth Center and is a longtime supporter of Aspen's arts organizations.
Anne enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, cooking, entertaining friends and traveling the world whenever time allows. Always the adventurer, Anne earned her pilot’s license in the early 80’s, heli-skied in the Canadian Rockies numerous times, and made countless scuba diving trips to the Caribbean. A dive trip to Truk Lagoon in Micronesia still ranks as one of her most memorable experiences.
Anne's son James was born in Aspen and thrived in the Aspen public school system. He played ice hockey for 13 years with Aspen Junior Hockey and graduated from Skidmore with a major in Management and Business and a minor in International Affairs. James has returned to the Roaring Fork Valley and is now married and living with his wife and young son in Carbondale, Colorado.
As a longtime Aspen resident, Anne is familiar with everything the area offers to visitors and residents alike. She publishes an annual Roaring Fork Valley Dining Guide and will be happy to mail a copy to you.
