Penny Jackson

Penny Jackson’s real estate journey was a personal interest that became a professional career. After building several upscale homes on 30A with her husband, Judd, in the early 2000s, Penny said she was compelled by people’s strong affinity for the area and she wanted to be a part of them falling in love with the Emerald Coast’s communities and finding their own piece of the beach.

A graduate of Auburn University, where she majored in hotel and restaurant management, Penny began working in group sales at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort, where she has also lived for 15 years, interacting with the same families year after year. Over time, those families returned to Penny for vacation rentals, retirement homes and legacy properties. In 2017, she joined Scenic Sotheby’s International Realty, bringing with her nearly two decades of experience in the resort’s 72 unique neighborhoods, homeowners associations and vast amenities.

Many of Penny’s clients are repeat customers, who often refer their friends and family members to her. Years of building trust and relationships have created a respected word-of-mouth business for Penny, who added that she enjoys the challenge of drilling down and locating the perfect property for her customers. Beyond the gates of Sandestin, she works in the Miramar Beach, Destin and 30A west end markets. She prides herself on being a strong communicator and taking a one-on-one, rather than a shotgun, approach.

Penny is a past president of the Children’s Volunteer Health Network and has served on the board of Food For Thought Outreach Inc. for a number of years. She also sat on the board of directors for the Elation Condominium Association, where she learned the ins and outs of association dues, reserves and the structure of HOAs.

In her free time, Penny can be found attending classes at OrangeTheory Fitness or hot yoga. She enjoys cooking and traveling, setting a goal to visit every continent in the next 10 years. She and her husband are the parents of two boys, Spencer and Parker, and one stellar dog, Cooper.
