Colleen Bennett brings more than 20 years of real estate experience, serving the communities from Claremont to Los Angeles, and a diverse career that spans the fields of entertainment, fashion, and financial services.
Prior to joining Sotheby’s International Realty, Colleen was a member of the President’s Club at ReMax Masters and an Estates Director with Dilbeck Premier Properties, earning the Premier Services Certification. From the start, her ethics, knowledge, and diligence earned the trust and confidence of clients. As a result, the majority of her business is repeat and referral-based. Colleen has a great appreciation and passion for historical homes and architecture, as her father was the co-founder of American Bungalow magazine, based in Sierra Madre, CA.
Earlier in her career, Colleen was an Executive Secretary for the Merv Griffin Show, an Executive to the Producer of Wheel of Fortune, an Account Executive for Calvin Klein, and a Financial Advisor with Dean Witter Reynolds (known today as Morgan Stanley).
Colleen is a member of Pasadena Heritage, Pasadena Museum of California Arts, Pasadena Museum of History, National Association of Realtors®, California Association of Realtors®, Pasadena-Foothills Association of Realtors, and a supporter of local humane societies. She is passionate about family, animals, children’s art, golf, and entrepreneurial ventures.
Colleen was born and raised in South Pasadena where she spent the majority of her life. She and her husband Peter have three grown sons and one grandson.
