Deborah Maxson

The attraction was immediate for Deborah Maxson when she found Pasadena; it is an East Coast Town with Palm Trees. Deborah is a happy transplant from New Jersey, and Pasadena represents the blending of California’s optimal climate and a sense of community and sophistication.

Deborah has been a licensed Realtor for 33 years, currently with Sotheby’s International Realty. Recognized within the company both locally and nationally as a top producer, Deborah gives credit to her past clients and business associates for allowing her to do 98% of her business straight from those referrals. Prior to becoming a real estate agent, Deborah’s background was in banking. Her negotiating prowess and extensive knowledge of the loan process during that time was instrumental in the smooth transition and success of her career in real estate.

Deborah’s extensive knowledge of the area, both personally and professionally, is a recognized benefit to her clients. Currently, Deborah lives in the Pasadena area, and covers the San Gabriel Valley. The knowledge gained from living and working the area she specializes in has given her a significant advantage. Deborah’s areas of specialization include Pasadena, Altadena, South Pasadena, San Marino, San Gabriel, Alhambra, Sierra Madre, Arcadia, Monrovia, and Glendale. Having experienced firsthand much of the area’s growth, gives her insight particularly on SFR, condominium, construction, and architecturally significant properties. Additionally, Deborah has personally restored homes for herself.

Deborah belongs to one of the largest coaching companies in the US, Buffini and Company for over 20 years. The underlying principle and philosophy of Buffini is to blend a high level of success in real estate with one’s personal endeavors, the end result is a well-rounded gratifying life. While being actively enrolled in the coaching aspect, Deborah became a vested “Peak Producers” trainer. Thirty years ago, she was instrumental in starting the non-profit charity for the Pasadena Foothill Association of Realtors which raises funds for local non-profits and has consistently been able to distribute $100K per year to local charities and give $10K in scholarships.
