Edward Thomas (Tom) Broadhurst has been a valued member the real estate community for nearly 10 years. He joined Sotheby’s International Realty after three decades in the financial markets. He spent more than 20 years in the Capital markets, including five years in London. Recently, he has been an independent consultant for money managers and service providers to hedge funds. His superior negotiation, analytical and communication skills make him a great real estate broker.
A 28-year resident of Greenwich, Tom is a graduate of Deerfield Academy and Bucknell University and has an MBA from NYU. He and his wife, Kelly, have two children, both of who attended Greenwich Public Schools. He is an active suburban athlete, an avid sailor and a member of the Riverside Yacht Club.
Tom is a seven-term member of the Representative Town Meeting (RTM), the Town Legislative body, having served on the Finance and Land Use Committees. He is currently the Chairman of District 5 of the RTM, which represents the Riverside neighborhood. He is committed to careful fiscal management and balancing the conflicting dynamics of supplying superior town services while keeping taxes down. He is also a founding board member of the Greenwich Point Conservancy, which is dedicated to restoring the buildings of Greenwich Point Park to their original condition.
